The Blue Hen Leadership Program
What is the BHLP?
The Blue Hen Leadership Program (abbreviated as the BHLP) is an award-winning undergraduate program at the University of Delaware dedicated to moulding students into dynamic, socially-conscious leaders in their personal and professional lives. Based off of the Social Change Model of Leadership, the program is split into four tiers (ideally to be completed for each year of undergraduate education) to allow participants to analyze the self, team, and community facets regarding the model and fully understand what is necessary for stable leadership.
Aside from various community outreach opportunities and resume-boosting skills learned via program-sponsored workshops, the BHLP is an excellent way to network with other likeminded, determined individuals with the desire to improve their communities.
